2010/11/12 Drawings

In June of 2010, having not done any art to speak of since high school, (nothing I'd call art anyway) I enrolled in an observational drawing class at the Brisbane Institute of Art. My youngest child was eighteen months old, the renovations on the house, while incomplete, were liveable and I needed to do something just for myself, for good mental health.

It's fair to say that since then, unexpectedly, the practice of making art and getting educated has assumed a dominant role in my life. There's a long way to go, but it's a good beginning.
